A Girl with the Sight

What is this project about?

A girl with a sight was created for people who can’t see the world with their own eyes but they feel every emotion and express it through colors and shapes. This project is called A girl with a Sight. This project aims to explore how perception and emotions intertwine, challenging the way we define “seeing”. Through colors, visual illustrations, and symbolism, I aim to portray the world through the girl’s inner feelings, emphasizing that the world doesn’t have to rely on physically seeing but also on emotional intelligence. The goal for this project is to invite people to step into the emotional spectrum of someone who sees the world through colors, emotions and intuitions.

Braille Book

The first medium is a braille book. The purpose of this book

is to provide my audience with a sensory experience by using

embossed braille along with typography and graphics that

correspond to the ongoing narrative. The pictures, which are

color-coded with emotions, will be displayed on each page.

Motion Video

The second medium is motion piece, narrating the story of girls’ perspectives on this world. The purpose of this piece is to give an immersive experience to the audience through the story of a girl who can’t see the world through her eyes, but her intuitions and feelings are nonetheless more powerful. She is strong enough to make her own decisions and lead her life, without any insecurities of being a visually impaired girl in this cruel world.
