This project explores the emotional and visual contrast between anger and peace through the design of two book covers. By studying how these opposing states are experienced, expressed, and internalized, the covers translate emotion into form, color and symbolism.
Rage Becomes Her channels anger as power, bold, sharp, and confrontational, using strong geometry and high-contrast colors to reflect intensity and resistance. In contrast, Deep Peace embodies calm and healing through softness, fluid forms, and a muted palette, offering a visual sense of stillness and reassurance.
Together, these covers examine how design can communicate emotional states, showing how typography, imagery, and composition can evoke both turbulence and tranquility. The project reflects a deeper investigation into how emotions shape narratives and how visual language can hold space for both strength and serenity.
